Welcome to ClipCook. By downloading, installing, or using the ClipCook mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App is provided by Orcun Demir ("we", "our", "us"). Contact: clipcook.app@gmail.com

1. Description of Service

ClipCook is a recipe management application that uses artificial intelligence to extract recipes from social media video URLs (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). The App provides features including AI-powered recipe extraction, meal planning, shopping lists, cooking mode, and PDF export.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ClipCook. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account Registration

You may sign in using Apple Sign In or Google Sign In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account.

4. Subscription & Credits

• ClipCook operates on a credit-based and subscription model.
• New users receive 5 free credits upon registration.
• Each AI-powered recipe extraction (URL, text, or photo) consumes 1 credit.
• Photo-based recipe extraction is exclusively available to active subscribers.
• Credit packs (10, 50, 100, 200 credits) are available as consumable in-app purchases. Credits do not expire.
• Subscriptions are available in Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly plans, managed through Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions (iOS) or Google Play > Subscriptions (Android).
• No refunds are provided for unused credits or partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.
• Credit packs are consumable and non-refundable once purchased.

5. Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, it automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App.
• Circumvent or manipulate the credit system.
• Upload or submit URLs containing illegal, harmful, or infringing content.

7. Referral Program

ClipCook offers a referral program. When you invite a friend using your unique referral code and they create an account, both you and your friend receive 5 free credits. You may not create multiple accounts to abuse the referral system. We reserve the right to revoke credits obtained through fraudulent referrals.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within ClipCook are owned by ClipCook and protected by intellectual property laws. Recipes extracted by the AI are provided for your personal use. We do not claim ownership of the original content from third-party platforms.

9. Third-Party Content

ClipCook extracts recipe information from third-party social media platforms. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or availability of third-party content. Extracted recipes are for personal, non-commercial use only.

10. AI-Generated Content

Recipes extracted by our AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) are automatically generated and may contain inaccuracies. You acknowledge that:

• AI-extracted recipes may not perfectly match the original content.
• Nutritional information is estimated and should not be relied upon for medical or dietary decisions.
• You should always verify ingredients, especially regarding food allergies, intolerances, and dietary restrictions.
• ClipCook is not liable for any health consequences resulting from following AI-generated recipes.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that AI-extracted recipes will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClipCook and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages related to dietary decisions based on extracted recipes. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClipCook, its developer, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice or liability. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Unused credits are forfeited upon termination for cause.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the App or by email.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey. For EU users, this does not affect your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

17. Apple App Store Terms

• These Terms are between you and ClipCook only, not Apple Inc.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or warranty for the App.
• Apple is not responsible for any claims related to the App.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
